Exhibition “Free Spirit” Probably born in 1987, Stani is a street artist of Polish origin, dark and full of a creative energy specific to his condition. An insatiable young creator, bathed in television sub-cultures, video games, rock music and the most underground electro “parties” in Berlin (where he lives most of the time). Stani is an apostle of street art, at the crossroads between the freest and most inventive art brut and the urgency of a Basquiat in need of heroin. However, he wishes to remain anonymous, as his identity has never been revealed to the general public. In spite of his influences, Stani has nevertheless developed his own aesthetic approach. Halfway between graphic art and street art, Stani expresses himself through acrylic and chalk on canvases of various sizes. Between figures and feathers, drawings and writings, Stani depicts his daily life, tells us about his adventures and shares his tastes through a dynamic and colourful universe characteristic of his art. Exclusively represented by the Charron gallery, which he joined in 2012, Stani has notably been exhibited at Art Up Lille in 2014; at Kunst 15 Zurich, Art3G Bordeaux and Kunstmesse Frankfurt in 2015, where his work entitled Yegg was presented during a report by the German channel ARD.
