Bérengère d’Orsay’s work questions the cycles of life, from their growth to their disintegration. Changing the scales of reality, her sculptures are imbued with the mineral, plant, animal and human world (resin, marble, wood, metal, papier-mâché, etc.), revealing mutations and evolutionary mechanisms. The processes used for his ceramics (drawing, modelling, moulding, demoulding, printing) are superimposed on the natural processes of the immutable restarts they describe.
