Art Basel has chosen its name for Paris

The Art Basel fair, which will be held in Paris on the same dates as Fiac, has chosen its name and new direction ; Paris+, by Art Basel.

What about other contemporary art fairs?

For the past two years, the pandemic has forced art fair organisers around the world to change their schedules. Some fair dates are being maintained while others are being postponed or cancelled.

If you are passionate about art, you will of course keep yourself informed of these changes in dates. For my part, I regularly update my “Calendar of French and International Fairs 2022” to make sure I don’t miss any of the international art news.

Journalists tend to talk mainly about known fairs, I propose below to share with you the summary of the main fairs and also show offs, classified by date order that will take place this year. This list is indicative and not exhaustive and will allow you to

• discover show offs that you may not have known about
• to take the time to visit these fairs if the Omicron variant continues to fade and allows us to travel and gather around a common passion: art
