“The “pheinture” is above all ephemeral in its flesh. If the photographic image is its fixative and memory, light reveals it and gives it life. It has its own identity, it is halfway between painting and photography, but is neither one nor the other and is hated to the point of photoshop. If in her beginnings, only the unknown guides her steps, she now sometimes becomes attached to a theme. Exploring materials, they live and react by themselves in a landscape changing by the second. Because they are not made to meet each other or simply to be there, the reaction is surprising, emotion is invited on the glass or steel plate, a place chosen for its transparency or its reflections, its luminance or its rejections. Liquid sculpture, misappropriated objects, alchemy of colours, lights and materials, painting without a second’s paint, I am sometimes the father and guide, sometimes a spectator amazed to see her living and moving in an orphaned way. »
